A Different Kind of Support

Building independence through doing

For some participants, the most meaningful path to independence isn't a traditional support session — it's learning something new, creating something, or discovering a capability they didn't know they had. Technology can open those doors.

What We Offer

Activities tailored to you

This is an area we approach differently for each participant — there's no fixed program. We start with a conversation about what interests you, what you'd like to be able to do, and what skills you'd like to build. From there, we work out what technology-based activities would be meaningful and achievable for you.

Examples of what we can support include: activities using 3D printing and design, gaming as a social and cognitive skill-building tool, smart home technology to support daily living and independence, and basic digital skills that open up access to the wider world.

3D Printing & Design

Creating real objects from digital designs. Builds problem-solving, planning, and fine motor skills in a hands-on, satisfying way.

Gaming & Digital Skills

Gaming as a purposeful activity — building concentration, social connection, communication, and coordination in an engaging format.

Smart Home Technology

Setting up and using smart home devices that can increase independence at home — from voice assistants to automated lighting and reminders.

Digital Literacy

Learning to use a phone, tablet or computer with confidence — email, video calls, apps, online services. Skills that connect you to the world.

Not sure if this is for you?

That's exactly the right starting point. This kind of support works best when we understand the person first. Get in touch and tell us a little about the participant — what they enjoy, what they find challenging, what they've always wanted to try. We'll have an honest conversation about whether technology-supported activities would be a good fit.

Funding

How is this funded?

Technology-supported activities can be funded under several NDIS support categories depending on the nature of the activity and the participant's goals — including community participation, daily activities, and assistive technology. The right category depends on the individual plan.

We'll always work with your plan manager or support coordinator to make sure any support we provide is correctly aligned with your plan before we begin.

Curious? Let's have a conversation.

No commitment, no pressure. Just a genuine chat about whether this kind of support could work for you or your participant.
