Personal Care & Daily Living
Supportive, dignified care that helps you start the day with confidence and maintain the routines that matter to you.
What does personal care actually look like?
Personal care support is about helping you with the physical tasks of daily life — the things that keep you comfortable, healthy, and ready to take on your day. It's practical, it's consistent, and it's always done with respect for your privacy and dignity.
Personal Hygiene
Assistance with showering, bathing, grooming, oral care, and personal presentation — done the way you prefer, at a pace that suits you.
Dressing & Grooming
Help with getting dressed, managing clothing, hair care, and maintaining the personal appearance that makes you feel like yourself.
Meal Preparation
Preparing or assisting with meals and snacks based on your dietary needs and preferences. We can support independently or alongside you.
Morning & Evening Routines
Structured support through the parts of the day that set the tone — whether that's a relaxed morning or a consistent bedtime routine.
Medication Prompting
Prompting and assisting with self-administered medications, so nothing gets missed as part of your daily routine.
Mobility & Transfers
Safe assistance with moving around the home, transferring between positions, and supporting mobility aids where needed.
Your way, every time
No two people have the same routine, and we don't treat them as if they do. Before we begin, we take the time to understand exactly how you like things done — what products you use, what order things happen in, what matters most to you in the morning.
We also understand that personal care is just that — personal. We work with you to ensure you're always comfortable with who is supporting you, and how that support is delivered. Your dignity and privacy come first, always.
Is this right for me?
Personal care support is funded under the NDIS for participants who need assistance with daily self-care tasks due to their disability. It's available for self-managed and plan-managed participants.
If you're not sure whether your NDIS plan includes personal care funding, your plan manager or support coordinator can clarify this for you — or you're welcome to contact us and we can help point you in the right direction.
